By increasing the alkalinity, this product enhances the disinfectant's effectiveness and prevents the formation of scale. It also safeguards against metal corrosion, etching on spa surfaces, eliminates pH bounce, and maintains the pH level at an optimal range. This product is easy to use as it quickly dissolves in water. Simply add 1 ounce (2 tablespoons) to the spa water and let it circulate for 30 minutes. Then, retest the water and repeat the previous steps until the desired alkalinity level is obtained.
